Left to look after Felsham Hall until it has been sold, Lovejoy uses the house as a furniture showroom. It seems unlikely anyone could replace Lady Jane in the dodgy dealer's affections - but that doesn't prevent his eye being caught by glamorous auctioneer Charlotte Cavendish. Charlie Gimbert eventually buys the property, and agrees to rent the stables for Lovejoy Antiques. Patricia Hayes guest stars in an episode directed by Ian McShane.
